Agawa Bay

Lake Superior Provincial Park is a 1,600 square kilometre (618 sq. mi.) park located along the eastern shore of Lake Superior. The park is accessible via the Trans-Canada Highway (Hwy 17), which passes through the park for 83 km (52 mi). The southern boundary of the park is a 90 minute drive north of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario (130 km / 81 miles), and the northern boundary is only a 10 minute drive (15 km / 9 miles) south of Wawa, Ontario.

    As many people know, Lake Superior is cold. My family was camping at the park in July and decided to go swimming. Long story short, it was a short swim.
