The Design Annex is a creativity lab where experimental exhibitions are mounted and intimate performances staged, complemented by an exciting home and office Art + Design Store and versatile venue rental space. Located in a beautifully restored 19th century heritage building, the AGH Design Annex provides an alternate venue for AGH programming and events that is unique in Hamilton.

    I stumbled upon this place when I was lost in Hamilton... I figured I'd wait for my Uber not in the spitting rain but in here - and I actually kept my Uber waiting quite a while! I got lost in the displays. They were well curated and very interesting. A nice woman came up and we chatted quite a while - despite my not having a design background she was very patient and carried on a conversation with me. I wish I could go on the crawl!
