    Lots of fond memories of family visits to this pioneer village. However, one of my favourite was the first time I came with my stepson. After several hours of touring, he wanted to know if pioneer families were like ours. When questioned, he said ' Did pioneer families have a mommy, a daddy and a Cheryl like ours?'

    I went to Black Creek Pioneer Village a couple of times for school trips, and I found it to be a really fun and interesting experience. The place brings a different time, a different way of living, to life. It's really cool to see how people used to live before technology became incredibly commonplace in our lives.

    I remember fondly visiting black creek pioneer village sometime in grade 3 and at the time I was not able to fully understand the cultural and historical experience I was really having. This place really gives you the ability to reach out to a way of life that has sadly been forgotton.
