Open year round, Bowness Park is ideal for skating on the lagoon in the winter or picnicking in the summer. Other possible activities include canoeing, paddle boating and cross-country skiing. The park also includes "Playland" with rides for young children.

    This is one of my all time favourite hang out places in Calgary! Nice view of everything and a perfect park for a relaxing stroll or bonfire with friends.
