The Centre for Social is my favourite cultural site in the City because it is playing an active role in shaping the future of the City of Toronto and Canada as a country. While not a traditional cultural site, it houses various organizations and start-ups that exemplify the Canadian spirits through their focus on work that realizes social good in all types of communities.
The Centre for Social innovation is home to some of the country's greatest thinkers (many are young!) who are pushing the limits on our ideas of what urban living means, what lifestyles are the best, and how we can be better together. It's a place where creativity and community are encouraged and working together to solve problems is commonplace.
The Centre for Social Innovation is creating the next generation of change makers and is helping to open the doors for future generations to pursue work that aims to help their communities, cities and countries.
