A wonderful example of restoring historic buildings for new purpose. I love coming here to walk, have a coffee and check out the galleries. I have also attended the Christmas Market. Today, I think my geography students were most thrilled to see it being used as a set for a movie titled Little Italy.

The best part about this district aside from all the cool cafes and shops are the beautiful old buildings which are full of history and wonder. A must see in Toronto.

It's a cool outing to walk around the Distillery District and take in the Victorian-era architecture. It's particularly interesting when you see it juxtaposed against the modern condos right next door. The district is a great little pocket of history, and the special events they put on are always nice to walk around with friends.

Great place to visit if you in Toronto. They have a lot of neat shops, places to get food, and above all its a wonderful place to get pictures. Beware: Tends to get very crowded during Christmas.

This picture was taken in the Distillery District in Toronto and features the iconic Gooderham & Worts sign because of the deep history of the brewery. The clock represents the timelessness of the Distillery District and how it will stay an important place in Toronto for many years to come.

Take a closer look, at the small things in our lives, for they will fly by as the world around you changes. Our culture is rapidly evolving and I often find it difficult to keep up.The struggle often is that if you don’t change, you’ll be the one getting hurt. My photo exemplifies the bond between man and time as it is a never ending battle to hold on to what you love. As the coke bottle and the photo in his hands illustrate how change is minute but, a very powerful force for human beings.
