Every time I would walk in Point Pleasant Park, I would take a moment to stop at the memorial and look at the view on the ocean. It is so calm and so peaceful. I am glad that there is a monument dedicated to those who had died at sea to protect values such as freedom and democracy. May their sacrifice be never forgotten.
Chaque dois que je prennais une marche au Parc Point Pleasant, je prennais le temps de m'arrête au mémorial pour regarder l'océan, si calme et si paisible. Je suis contente qu'il y ait un monument dédié à la mémoire de celles et ceux qui ont péri en mer pour protèger des valeurs telles que la liberté et la démocratie. Puisse leur sacrifice ne jamais être oublié.

I love visiting Point Pleasant because not only is the view of the ocean magnificent but you are surrounded by so much history.
This Memorial in Nova Scotia's capital, in Point Pleasant Park, is one of the few reminders of the men who died at sea.
