Horseshoe Bay is located on the western tip of West Vancouver where the B.C Ferries operate to nanaimo, Bowen Island and other cities. Park your car by the B.C Ferry Terminal and stroll along the beautiful ocean view site. There are several coffee shops, art galleries and restaurants along horseshoe bay which are quite popular amongst the locals. The traditional thing to eat while at Horseshoe bay is fish and chips! It is a great place for families as well since there is a playground and seaside deck chairs. You can also rent a boat or just watch some locals take their boats and kayaks out.
If you have the time, catch a ferry to Bowen Island and get the ferry experience without going too far!
