Kakabeka Falls is the second tallest waterfall in Ontario. It is located on the Kaministiquia River, an important route for early fur traders who would have to portage around the falls. The rocks around the falls contain some of the oldest fossils in existence. The waterfall is located in Kakabeka Provincial Park, now a popular for camping and hiking.
