The La Loche Friendship Centre was first incorporated September 16, 1998, and is situated in La Loche, Saskatchewan. The current Executive Director, Leonard Montgrand has been working with the Friendship Centre for 10 years. They currently have a staff of six persons including the Youth Intervention Position, two Family Support Program Workers, their Maintenance Person, and just recently their Cultural Connections for Aboriginal Youth.

Their current aims and objectives have been so varied as their Centre has become the end all for programming within their community. Their mandate varies from advocating for their clients in all areas including housing, residential school applications and referrals, employment assistance and guidance, and health and funeral assistance. They also deal with all the major activities in their community including Canada Day, Yanessa Days (Cultural Festival), Winterfest, Youth Springfest, and cultural camps and trips.
