Skiing up Mont Tremblant was amazing! As the ski lift carried us higher up the mountain you could see as the trees themselves were coated in ice and they just glistened in the sunshine!
Skiing in these mountains was just breathtaking!
We also visited the small town of Saint Donat where we bought a whole lot of maple syrup!

Taken in the iconic village in Mont-Tremblant National Park. I have taken the shot from a very low angle, looking down on the winding stairs to symbolize all that we have accomplished, and at the same time looking up to the skies and tall trees to show how much more we have yet to do. All the while it is at the eye level of the people coming up the stairs to suggest how familiar and obtainable our goals of unity are. A very balanced and symmetrical composition to demonstrate continuity of our heritage.

After an exhausting hike of 6 hours, up and down many mountains, you arrive at the top of the Mount Johansen at 595 meters. This 14 km hike brings you to the summit of the path Toit-des Laurentides to enjoy a breathtaking view of rolling mountains as far as the eye can see. To add to this beautiful landscape the clouds overhead cast shadows on the mountains and everything below appears minuscule. This striking view gives the hikers a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment once at the top. Because of the high altitude it is considerably cooler at the peak, refreshing you from the long hike. This said you cannot stay very long without getting a bit cold. The Toit-des laurentides hike is absolutely amazing and satisfies any nature enthusiast, all while exploring Canada from a different angle.
