The influence of arts and culture in Canada is strong and independent: My personal favourite form of art is the kind you don't find in a museum, but on the street, unexpected. Graffiti and other street art gives me inspiration and omits a luminous energy which is associated with non-profit, anonymous doings that add flare to a community.

My name is Sefi Sloman, I'm 18 years old, my community is North York, Toronto, ON. I personally find that whenever I visit the states, people aren't as dog friendly as I'm used to in Canada. I rarely see big beautiful and inviting parks, let alone one's which allow dogs. My wheaten terrier is now 5 years old: In this photo she was only 2 months. My dog Maybei has stuck by me through some tough times and continues to be one of my most trusted friends. This photo, taken at High Park, Toronto, Ontario was Maybei's first time playing with another dog. Whenever I visit High Park since this, I'm reminded of how much I love my dog, and how grateful I am that Canada is so dog friendly with numerous parks and green spaces.
