The craziest stunt I've heard of was people trying to go in a barrel off the edge of the falls.

I visited the Montreal Botanical Garden because of all the different types of plants an ecosytems and landscaping. I enjoyed my visit very much an plan on going again soon. :)

I think that many forts were found near bodies of water because it could be used as a barrier between two parties in a battle. It would slow them down from intruding the fort if they did not have a way to get across the water. It would also be noticeable if there was a boat approaching the fort then they could defend themselves before they got there.'

After visiting Algonquin Provincial Park, I do feel more aware of how important it is to sustain the park itself.
