    Montreal Botanical Garden
    guestBook Guestbook Wooden Horses

Montreal's Botanical Gardens have many amazing sights to see. Perhaps one of the most unique and beautiful was the one I took a picture of and submitted- two horse shaped silhouettes made out of wood and bark. I feel like this is perfect and beautiful representation of Canada's wildlife. The horse shaped sculpture represents the animals that live in the wild, where as the wood that it was constructed from represents the natural plants that the animals live with. These two sculptures are stunning representations of the harmony and peace that lies between the animals and the plants of Canada. The two parts of the sculpture blend so seamlessly that at a quick glance, you wouldn't know that it was made out of wood. I believe that the artist who created these two stunning sculptures was really able to capture the true essence of the Canadian wilderness and how spectacularly connected and interdependent our plants and animals are to one another.

    Niagara Falls
    guestBook Guestbook Rainbow Falls

Everyone knows that Niagara Falls is breathtakingly beautiful all by itself, however when a rainbow appears in the chilly winter sky, the beauty that unfolds in front of your eyes is truly spectacular. You feel the light mist on your face, the sound of the waves crashing down on the rocks below, and see the beauty that Canada has to offer. The natural beauty that surrounds the Falls creates a strong sense of wonder, patriotism, and inspiration to all those who visit. Niagara Falls has earned a spot on the “Wonders of Canada” list, and for good reason; The Falls are something that regardless of culture, race, or background, people of all ages can come together to admire. The Falls have a way of connecting those around it; the sheer amounts of beauty and force behind the water really has a way of making you feel one with nature. Whether it be in the heat of summer, or the frigid Canadian winters, Niagara Falls, just like Canada’s people, adapt and are absolutely beautiful, regardless of the weather.
