Guestbook Lake Minnewanka - Serenity of the Mountains

This photo relates to my Canadian identity because it shows myself in one of the most naturally beautiful places on this planet, which happens to practically be in my 'back yard'. Lake Minnewanka brings a certain peacefulness to my well-being and every time I surround myself with the breathtaking landscapes of the Rocky Mountains I am reminded of the pioneers who traveled through these mountains, ultimately making them accessible to every Canadian, such as myself. For me being Canadian means having the utmost respect for the vast nature that surrounds me, appreciating all the wonders it has to offer and ensuring that future generations can take in the beauty that one lake, pristine and serene, in the middle of the Rocky Mountains has to offer.
