Digital Storytelling Contest

Guestbook Lionsgate Bridge - Sunsets are nice, but what happens after is better.

While taking the dogs for a stroll in Ambleside park in West Vancouver, the sun not-so-suddenly disappeared. My boyfriend and I were enjoying the cool, summer air of the nighttime and the puppies were still mingling. The sunset being reflected off the ocean was definitely a thing of beauty, but once the lights on Lionsgate Bridge twinkled on the night became much more delicate and distinguished. In that moment held just before the darkness completely engulfed us, we both felt humbled and patriotic towards Canada and its natural surprises.

Lighthouse park itself is beautiful already, but when you place the favourite member of the family in the shot it becomes infinitely better. This submission is dedicated to Jena Rosie Licker, who will be held highly in all our hearts forever. You will be missed, baby girl.
