If I were to be reincarnated as any creature found within our beautiful country I would definitely suffer from great anxiety as the list would be almost non-exhaustive. First and foremost I would be a creature that loves water. This doesn't narrow it down by much. Maybe a strong Canadian rainbow trout, or a feisty beaver, or even a noble polar bear. But unfortunately I will never be any of those. However, I don't need to be a trout, a beaver, or a polar to enjoy the natural wonders of our country. With only the help of a best friend and a tough, sturdy Canadian canoe I am able to enjoy some of the beauty our country has to offer. This picture depicts my best friend and I in the middle of Turtle Lake found in the Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park in Ontario. In the midst of a Canada Day weekend we voyaged through some choppy waters to celebrate our nations birthday. As the proud nature loving Canadians we are, always seeking adventure and fun, we appropriately challenged each other to a game of "Don't Tip The Canoe." This has become our Canada Day tradition.
