This place reminds me of gardens found in Jane Austen books. They are expansive, natural, manicured and relaxing. It is hardly busy in the spring and summer so if you want a quiet place to hang out this is the place.

English Bay Beach

This is the best place to pack a picnic, blanket and a good book. There is always somewhere to sit on the grass and the views of the bay are amazing. There is always a nice breeze too.

Cardero's is a great seafood restaurant right on the water at the Marina, it has gorgeous views, amazing food and a great overall atmosphere.
