Do you ever imagine a place with crystal clear water and a place with gigantic rocks that are shaped like flowerpots? If so, Tobermory is the place to be. It is truly one of the most remarkable places I have ever been to. The boat ride from the harbour to the flowerpots is quite the journey. When I went, it felt like I was on a trip to find hidden deep-sea treasure. During the ride, my family and I came across a sunken ship and we could see it so perfectly because the water was so clear. There was an opportunity to scuba dive, but it was too cold that day. In fact, it was a rainy day which made it all the more adventurous. When we got to our destination, we had to hike in the mud to get to the rocks! It was hard but I enjoyed every minute of it. When we got to the rocks and the water, it was truly breathtaking. The water was glistening in the blue sky and I had to stop myself from jumping in. The flowerpots (which were the massive rocks) were also amazing because it seemed like someone from hundreds of years ago carved them. The 5 hour trip to Tobermory was absolutely worth it because I got to experience a spectacular boat ride, and saw a sunken ship, as well as saw the clearest water I have ever seen in my life. One day, I will go back there to scuba dive and possibly find some missing treasure.
