Rogers Centre (originally known as SkyDome) is a multi-purpose stadium in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada situated next to the CN Tower near the northern shore of Lake Ontario. Opened in 1989 on the former Railway Lands, it is home to the Toronto Blue Jays of Major League Baseball and the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League. Since 2008, the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League have played several regular-season and pre-season games at the stadium as part of the Bills Toronto Series. While it is primarily a sports venue, it also hosts other large-scale events such as conventions, trade fairs, concerts, traveling carnivals, and monster truck shows.

It will always be the SkyDome to me. Some exciting baseball and football memories here. My last visit was during the 2016 Grey Cup Festival.

As a huge Toronto sports fan, I have had my fun share of many Jays games over the years. It is always such a thrill when you have the whole country standing behind your home team. There's nothing better than spending a warm summer day at the ball game.

This place is huge. I can't even comprehend the massive size of the dome. The view with the CN Tower is amazing. Many international events are held here, and the landmark is widely known across Canada, making it culturally important.

Although many consider hockey Canada's pride and joy, baseball has always had a soft spot in my household. As a youth growing up, most kids my age were focused on becoming the next Wayne Gretzky or Mario Lemieux; however, I dreamt of becoming the next Larry Walker or Justin Morneau. The summer months hold a special place in my heart and I always count down the days to the Jays' home opener. My first ball game at the SkyDome (now the Rogers Centre) is my favourite childhood memory. The Seattle Mariners were in town and I was fortunate enough to see the legendary Roy Halladay take the mound. The roar of the home team crowd and the beautiful view with the Dome open and the CN Tower overlooking was one that I will never forget. There is no other ball park in the world that can compete with the Rogers Centre's picturesque view on a hot, sunny day, with the Dome open to everyone's delight! Attending a Blue Jays game is definitely a must for any Canadian and/or tourist, for that matter, visiting Toronto.
