Square One

100 City Centre Drive, Mississauga, Ontario

The construction of Square One began in 1969 and was completed and opened in 1973. It first opened when the city of Mississauga was largely raw land and undeveloped. Mississauga's City Centre was developed over the years around Square One and the city expanded around it as well. It is now one of the largest shopping malls in Canada with over 1,700,000 square feet of retail space and over 360 shops and services.

    was just there for my daughter soccer tournament spent the afternoon at the mall is huge lots of shops and plenty of chooses for eating

    Once a vast plane of raw land, Square One has transformed into a thriving metropolis at the center of Mississauga. The photo attached above is an image of the land where the City Centre and Square One now stand, with a sign announcing the new development in 1968. In only 48 years, this area has become a monumental hot spot of Canada's sixth largest city, attracting friends, families and tourists all across the GTA.

    Here you can do a Ton of shopping. However, it can tend to get very crowded. Never-less, almost all the stores you would need are there.
