i went to see the pirates of penzance here, and apparently that night justin bieber was there busking. i missed that, but thats ok, the play was way better!

Stratford was originally famous for it's four beautiful theatres and for it's pork congress (I know, random...), but now that the Biebs has become a a superstar, the beauty of the theater gets overlooked. If I could choose one person to take to dinner it would be Timothy Findley. He was an actor in Stratford, performing in it's inaugural season, and he was also a playwright. He wrote the novel "The wars," which I had the chance to study in high school, and since I hope to become a writer one day myself, I think we'd have some amazing conversation!
The Avon Festival is the second largest theater in Stratford. Originally called 'Theatre Albert,' the Avon Theatre is a traditional proscenium stage. It has also recently become known as the steps Justin Bieber used to play his guitar on.
