Sugarloaf Mountain Park is a natural viewpoint overlooking picturesque Departure Bay. A perfect spot to watch sunrises. Other than the trail and stairway up to the bluff top there are no official trails within the park.

    Sugarloaf has one of the best views in Nanaimo. You can see Mt. Benson, downtown Nanaimo, Departure Bay, and even Vancouver in the distance. It's also a great spot for stargazing.
