Healthcare has improved so much in the past 100 years and this museum captures these changes and the possibility for even more improvements into the future!
Changes that aren't just limited to knowledge but acceptance and the increased role of a nurse in patient care. Today nurses are still fighting for recognition. However much has changed in that nurse practitioners have similar roles and responsibilities of doctors.
The Ann Baillie Building is located within Queen's Campus it has beautiful architecture and is steps from the St. Lawrence River!
One of the first purpose-built nurses' residences in Canada, the building represents the professionalization of nursing in Canada in the early 20th-century, and now serves as the Museum of Health Care
