Cape Enrage

With tides rising as much as 16.3-meters (53 feet) over a 12-hour period twice a day, the Bay of Fundy is one of the Marine Wonders of the world. Thankfully, at the southern tip of Barn Marsh Island and on top of towering cliffs, Cape Enrage allows you to view the natural phenomenon from its spectacular view. Since 1838, Cape Enrage has been a light station and fog alarm, with the current light tower being over 140 years old. Still in use today, sounding the foghorn and beaming its light into the Bay of Fundy, the station is operated and maintained by the Cape Enrage Interpretive Centre. Moreover, visitors are welcomed in the former keeper's house to try the unique menu at the fine dining restaurant or grab a bite to eat from the take-out service. There is also a wonderful gallery gift shop for a variety of items from local artisans.

If you want to keep the adventures going, challenge yourself by ziplining 600-feet along the magnificent Bay of Fundy, or rappelling down a 140-ft cliff towards the rocky ocean floor.
