Canada's only museum dedicated solely to those who trained and fought for the British Commonwealth during the 1939-1945 World War. Explore this WWII Royal Canadian Air Force Training Site showcasing aircraft, artifacts, memorabilia, and the newly unveiled R.C.A.F. WWII Memorial. It is located in Manitoba where so much of the training was carried out through the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan, signed in December 1939. Canada had only 4,000 people in the Royal Canadian Air Force when the Plan was signed but enrollment reached 250,000 by the end of 1943. Winston Churchill referred to the Plan as Canada's greatest contribution to the allied victory.
