The Hartland Bridge in Hartland, New Brunswick, is the world's longest covered bridge, at 391 metres (1,283 ft) long. It crosses the Saint John River from Hartland to Somerville, New Brunswick. The framework consists of seven small Howe Truss bridges joined together on six piers.

    I was lucky enough to see and cross this bridge a few years ago. As a child, I'd never seen a bridge like this and so it was such an interesting learning experience. It really makes you think about how much a bridge would have meant to people at the time, and how much it must have changed lives.

    This is more of an artistic point of view, since not everyone would understand where this picture was taken. While visiting the province of New Brunswick, we stopped by Hartland to visit the longest covered bridge in the world! While going through, I was able to capture this picture and you can actually see out of it somehow which does fascinate me. This relates to my Canadian identity as I was able to discover more than the little town of Timmins, Ontario and see the beauty of this country.
