The caves are on the beautiful Vancouver Island, next to a campground on the lake.
You can take a tour of the caves with a guide which is highly recommended. It is a rare natural site to see.

Visiting Horne Lake was truly an awesome experience. I was able to go camping, repelling, canoeing, and caving all in two days. Caving was really interesting because in a cave deep under ground, there is absolutely no sound and no light. When you switch your head lamps off, your eyes are constantly trying to adjust but there's just zero light. Even night vision goggles won't work! Canoeing was also a beautiful experience, with such an amazing lake surrounded by mountains peaking over the clouds.
