Jeanne Mance park, located on the slopes of Mont Royal, stretches from Avenue des Pins to Avenue Mont-Royal. Whether it is to play a pickup soccer game, to take a stroll, or to see play organized American football, the park hosts a flurry of activities and caters to the many residential neighbourhoods in proximity.

One particular weekly event that draws a large crowd is the unofficial Tam-Tams festival. This drum circle is concentrated under the monument to Sir George Etienne Cartier but its percussion can be heard from the grass where people flock. This very culturally Montrealais scene is a perfect way to spend a sunny spring Sunday.
