I am so grateful every year for the Sens Rink of Dreams that provides a consistent and easy space to skate and for many to learn to skate. Music keeps the time lively and one can warm up with some food and hot drinks from Beavertails.
Nice building with lots of art and various spaces to explore. There are often events happening and there is also a good cafeteria!
Inside there is a lot of art that is fascinating. Also a rink in the front in the winter if you don't want to go to the canal
City life can get pretty hectic, but the view of Ottawa's water and greenery is an escape that reminds you that there's so much natural beauty to discover in our country. It's breathtaking at the least, and it's something we cannot take for granted in our country.
A stunning bird's eye view of Ottawa across the glistening blue waters, the full green trees. The photo displays our connection to the city, with great bridges and buildings. The magnificence of the crystal skyline as it kisses the mountain tops shows that even nature loves Ottawa.
On 27 June 2014, Canadian Multiculturalism Day, we will celebrate Canada’s diversity and the contributions of the many cultures that co-exist in this country.
The Urban Ottawa Landscape, the perfect studying view.
I am inspired by the Canadian flag as a symbol throughout the world. However, I don't like the colour scheme of the present Canadian flag. I feel red is too dramatic and associated with hot-bloodedness and aggression.
I feel it's the colour of blood and there's too much of that spilled and visible throughout the world.
I liked when Canada was associated with being cool and calm - a peace-maker
My 'çool' choice of colours for the Canadian flag are blue borders with a green maple leaf.
The realistic blue oceans east and west and a living green leaf not a dying red one.
The starting point and pit stop to this amazing experience!
