Winter is the season that is not popular for doing outdoor activities, especially immigrants who are from countries with little snow or high temperature. I am originally from Japan and have not experienced so much snow. I have started hiking in the winter and I enjoy every bits of it. Canada is known for its winter sports and therefore, everyone who lives in Canada should enjoy winter. Asian immigrants like me are particularly refrained from going into the cold. As Canadians, they should engage with Canada more and see Canadian nature.

They should conqueror nature and enjoy the view through hiking the Stawamus Chief while also learning the importance of the mountain, which is considered as spiritual location for the Stawamus people.

I have visited Banff and Jasper National Parks twice and they are the best. It seems that these places have not been touched by humans even though there are many tourists. Pictures taken are so surprising that the picture viewers think they are artificial!
