My favourite season to spend in High Park is summer (also my favourite season of all). The size of High Park still amazes me and I have not yet explored all the areas within it! I had the privilege to live within less than a 10 minute walk from this grand park and I loved escaping my busy days and wondering through the park for hours. It's rare that I get to go out of the city, I'm grateful for this park for giving me the feeling of being far away in nature without the need to drive for hours. I'm not a runner (yet) so I prefer to stroll the many trails that lead to calming ponds, open green spaces and so much more. Laying under the shade of a tree, breathing the fresh air nature give us, all while I hear serene sounds of water. Great way to unload and recharge!
