I took lots of history in school. I don't remember being taught that Mb had a naval battle (at Hudson Bay no less). Or that people lived here before the pyramids were built, as evidenced by a 7,000 to 9,000 yr old Atlatl Point found within 50km of here. Who knew that Mb was firebombed by Japan in WW2. I love this gallery as an adult & wish that I could have seen it as a child. Mb is a far more interesting place than I had ever thought possible!

I love the atlatl point in the Manitoba Military History Gallery that is older than the Great Pyramid
This site is a focal point for telling the story of Canadian Gunners. This story is physically held in museums in every Province across our country. The story of the Gunners of Canada is really the story of Canada itself – part of our shared national heritage. Our aim is to bring all of the elements of the story together in one place in a way that is accessible to all Canadians.
