I have been in many theatrical shows and performances at the Fredericton Playhouse with theatre companies and my own family! The arts are such a wonderful and important part of Fredericton and I absolutely adore going to see shows there and being in them! :)

I had the opportunity on Halloween to go to The Fredericton Playhouse for a midnight showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. It was amazing to see all the different people show up and get dressed up even that late at night. I loved how they even offered student rates so everyone could see performances affordability to most events.
Established in 1964, The Fredericton Playhouse, was a gift to the New Brunswick people from Lord and Lady Beaverbrook. At the time it was the only performing arts facility in New Brunswick. Though it has gone under a couple renovations it is home to Theater New Brunswick. It shows musical, theatrical, and other professional performances by local, national, and international performers.
