Canada Place is located on the Burrard Inlet waterfront of Downtown, Vancouver. Inside the Canada Place, you will find the Vancouver Convention Centre, the Pan Pacific Vancouver Hotel, Vancouver's World Trade Centre, and FlyOver Canada.

Canada Place was originally home to Pacific Railway’s Pier until 1986 when it was named as Canada Place and was opened by HRH Prince Charles and The Right Hon. Brian Mulroney, Prime Minister of Canada.

Canada place was once home to the largest permanent IMAX 3D theatre which ended up closing in 2009 to be replaced by FlyOver Canada. Flyover Canada is a fun virtual flight ride where you get to see Canada’s most prominent sites. To get the best views of the Canada place, either take the seabus from North Vancouver or stand in front of the Vancouver Convention Center.

Otherwise, walk around Canada Place and snap some photos of the amazing architecture and check out their website for their event highlights!

I go here a few times a year, for example on Canada Day, There is so much to do: celebrations, cake, pancake breakfast and the views are amazing also. Always a great time here.

We were at Canada Place in August - but I imagine it would be a great place to watch a waterfront fireworks display.

Canada Place is very pretty with its roofs looking like sails. As a matter of fact, this is the place to be to admire the gigantesque size of all the cruise ships that are arriving in town! If you like climbing stairs, trying to get the best view possible, this is also the place to be!
