Lake Louise

Lake Louise

Lake Louise is a beautiful lake recognized as part of Banff National Park in Alberta. This lake, known for its sparkling, crystal-clear waters, is fed by a series of glacier mountains located right above it. During the summer, visitors are invited to hike the nearby trails and take in the scenery or jump on in and enjoy the water. In winter months, an ice festival of sorts takes place and the lake transforms into a skating rink! On a trip to Alberta, our family marvelled, not only in the beauty of the landscape, but in the amazing ice sculptures and ice structures or castles that had been built.

There were so many people there all at once, but it was still so peaceful and quiet. The air smelled fresh like the water and the trees. The sunlight made the cool aqua glisten as the breeze playfully pushed the water around. The colours were so different, but none could ever go together as well as they did. It was natures very own work of art and no human can ever recreate that beauty.

This lake is one of the most beautiful lakes. It is so calm and serene and the turquoise blue colour is out of this world. Would love to see it again and drink in this majestic scenery, it is such an amazing experience.
