Quadra
Summer 2015Guestbook Feb 5, 2016
My summer training at Quadra B.C., was everything that I imagined. I was able to sail with my partner from Swift Current who had also been accepted to camp. I received my Cansail 4, Power Boat licence, and my First Aid. Spending six weeks sailing in the sun, with my favourite partner, and an awesome division was amazing. The experience was unforgettable, and it helped me realize what i wanted to be post high school. I have now applied and received entry to the Memorial University for Marine Engineering.

Oriole - Majestic VesselGuestbook Feb 5, 2016
The Oriole was down in Comox B.C. over the summer of 2015. To be used by the Sea Cadet Training Program running on the Queens base Quadra. It is not necessarily a place, but it is a Canadian built ship that was commissioned in 1952. It is an amazing ship and being able to go on it, see it, and have a beautiful photo of it. Brings a sense of pride to myself. To see what we are capable of building as a nation, for it is the longest commissioned ship as well as the only ship left in the Royal Canadian Navy that uses sail power. To seeing it still being used to this day, in the navy and with helping teach the next generation the ways in the life of a sailor at sea, is truly inspiring.

WeddingGuestbook Feb 5, 2016
It was my father's girlfriend's brother's wedding. And they had asked my dad's girlfriend Sharon and I, to play for them. Sharon had not sung in many years in front of people, but she agreed. On the wedding day while sinning she started to cry, I continued to play, and whispered that she could do it. She did finish the song, and the bride and groom were very happy.

TCU Place
Canadian CitizenGuestbook Feb 5, 2016
In the summer of 2014, I became a Canadian Citizen. My mother and I headed down to TCU place, to go be among the other hundred people becoming citizens that day. I stood proud during the oath and Canadian National Anthem, and when they called my name up to get my certificate, I was very proud to be a Canadian finally.
