I spend a week at Parliament Hill and it was so much fun! Despite not being allowed to wear sweatpants, the entire experience was amazing, and you get to meet so many interesting people! Pro tip though, do not start cracking jokes with strangers because they may turn out to be the Director of Communications for Parliament Hill. For anyone who in Ottawa, this should be on your list, it is central, easy to spot and full of history!

The National War Memorial

This memorial is incredibly important and anyone who has time should visit and pay their respects. While not everyone agrees with war (including myself), respect should be paid to those that answered the call and traveled overseas to protect Canada and our allies. If you're around in November, go visit on Remembrance day!
