I've always felt at home in Canada, although I've never really felt connected to any particular within it I have been. I do, however feel a strong connection to the changing of seasons. Every winter season surprises me, and every winter I stand in the cold, snow and slightly out of place in the white, yet feel completely at home. As much as I stick out, my place is here. And so this painting is about my feelings about Canada's winters. They're as much a part of me as any place.

I lived on a ski hill in BC for a year. There was a t-bar on top of the hill and when there was a blizzard it felt magical.

This place is officially Canada's best place! Sometimes water makes us feel comfortable. Also I have a special memory in this place. My Grandpa's last picnic was Niagara Falls. This place will always be my special place. Niagara Fall is a wonderland beauty of Canada
