Mont-Tremblant National Park

Taken in the iconic village in Mont-Tremblant National Park. I have taken the shot from a very low angle, looking down on the winding stairs to symbolize all that we have accomplished, and at the same time looking up to the skies and tall trees to show how much more we have yet to do. All the while it is at the eye level of the people coming up the stairs to suggest how familiar and obtainable our goals of unity are. A very balanced and symmetrical composition to demonstrate continuity of our heritage.

This picture was taken on top of Mount Royal in Montreal, Quebec just after two girls had finished doing there ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Raising awareness for a just cause, I think is very Canadian. Generally as a culture we cultivate acceptance and friendship. We are not complacent and stand up for the things that matter to us. So I think these empty buckets on top of Mount Royal, overlooking the city is very symbolic of who we are as a nation.
